The Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS) is now accepting applications for their annual scholarship program. As a UAMPS member city, high school students in our community are eligible to apply for these valuable educational opportunities.
For Sophomores & Juniors: Summer Camp + $500 Scholarship
Current sophomore and junior students can apply for:
- FREE week-long summer camp (July 6-10, 2026)
- $500 scholarship check
- Opportunity to earn additional scholarship money during camp
Important Deadlines
- April 3, 2026 (Midnight):
Essay entries must be submitted to Santa Clara City (the local UAMPS member utility). - April 10, 2026:
Santa Clara City will forward its winning essay to UAMPS for final consideration. - By April 27, 2026:
Final four winners will be selected by the UAMPS Executive Committee and notified via email.
