Adventsfenster is a cherished holiday tradition in Santa Clara that takes place each year throughout the month of December as a festive countdown to Christmas. Inspired by a popular Swiss custom, decorated windows in homes and businesses all throughout Santa Clara are unveiled one by one each evening from December 1 through December 24. Each window is uniquely designed and revealed at 7:00 pm, creating a growing display of holiday spirit across the community and inviting residents and visitors to gather and celebrate the season. Adventsfenster brings neighbors together and highlights the Swiss heritage that continues to shape Santa Clara’s holiday traditions.
