On Friday, May 1st at 12:30 PM in front of the Town Hall, join Jamie Barnes, the State Forester of Utah as she plants a “Liberty Tree” with City officials.
Groups from Santa Clara and Arrowhead Elementary Schools will sing patriotic numbers, and refreshments will be served.
The original Liberty Tree in Boston was a rallying point for colonial defiance against the Stamp Act of 1765. A Liberty Tree will now be planted in Santa Clara to celebrate and honor that historic symbol.
