Santa Clara City has contracted with American Pavement Preservation for our annual Slurry Seal Program. Work begins May 12, 2026 and continues approximately through May 24, 2026. Please do not park on your street during this construction project. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The slurry seal preserves and protects asphalt roadways. It is a thin mixture of asphalt emulsion and sand applied to road surfaces to extend pavement life and improve neighborhood appearance.
Important details:
- Do not park on streets scheduled for work; notices will be posted on affected doors the night before.
- Schedule may change due to weather or mechanical issues.
